Theatre Kent was recognized on several fronts at the 2023 Western Ontario Drama League Festival and Reunion Gala in London.
- Gina and Andre Paradis were presented with WODL Life Member Awards, a very well deserved honour for both!
- JC Wright was given with the Repuski Award, in memory of Steve Repuski, for Outstanding Performance in a Supporting Role for her portrayal of Irene Farmer in ‘Remember, Maggy’?
- The Remember, Maggy? cast was also honoured with the Inez Hayes Memorial Award for Outstanding Ensemble Work.
- The Theatre Kent Award for Most Promising Newcomer was given to Julie Craven of Owen Sound Little Theatre for her portrayal of Mrs. Potts in ‘Beauty and the Beast’.
In all, a wonderful night celebrating community theatre!
