Aidan Runnalls

Apostle

Aidan is currently in grade 11 at Ursuline College Chatham, where he has enjoyed being part of the drama program. He’s performed as Mr. Wormwood in Matilda and has taken on multiple roles in a one-act play. In addition to his performances, Aidan is excited to be working on Wisteria, UCC’s upcoming National Theatre Society entry, featuring original music composed by him. He’d like to give a shout-out to his parents for always making sure he arrived on time!

Alcina Wojkowski

Youth Ensemble

Alcina is a passionate young performer currently in Grade 7 at École St. Marie. She is part of the youth ensemble and has had the opportunity to showcase her talent in various productions, including The Little Mermaid, Annie, and Beauty and the Beast. Alcina is actively pursuing her vocal training to improve her skills for future roles, with big dreams of performing on Broadway someday.

Alexis Woods

Youth Ensemble

Alexis is a grade 6 student. She is new to the stage and has trained at Brio Academy. She’s excited to be involved in more performances in the future and is grateful for the opportunity to be part of Jesus Christ Superstar. A big shout-out to everyone involved in the production for making it such a memorable experience!

Alyssa Burnett

Merchant / Reporter / Guard

Alyssa is excited to take on the roles of Merchant, Reporter, and Guard. She works as an Office Administrator at Emmanuel Baptist Church and has previously performed in the Ensemble in Mamma Mia. Alyssa is grateful for the support she’s received throughout her journey. She wants to thank her family, especially her awesome husband Adam, for encouraging her during this show. She’s incredibly proud of her son, Lochlan, for auditioning and putting in the practice to be great. A special thank you to her dad, Keith, for encouraging her throughout her life—she’s thrilled to finally share the stage with him!

Andie Isabella Richards

Youth Ensemble

Andie is a Grade 4 student making her theatrical debut as a member of the youth ensemble in this production. With three years of vocal training, Andie is excited to bring her passion for singing and acting to the stage. She is dedicated to honing her craft and looks forward to continuing to build her acting and vocal skills. She would like to send a special thank you to her amazing Dad, Mom, Sister, Scottie, and all of her family and friends for their endless love, support, and encouragement. Their belief in her makes every rehearsal and performance even more special, and Andie is thrilled to share her very first theatrical experience with them.

Angela Speller

Assistant Stage Manager

Anglea is a professional Wedding & Boudoir Photographer and has previously worked as the Assistant Stage Manager for Beauty and the Beast (2017) and as Stage Manager for A Christmas Carol (2018) and Little Shop of Horrors (2019), all presented by Studio Black. Angela is also the owner of Velvet Boudoir Studio in Chatham, where she encourages women of all sizes, ages (19+), and ethnicities to embrace an empowering, inclusive, and luxurious boudoir experience. Velvet Boudoir offers a safe and private space to explore this at least once in a lifetime. Avery Kosik

Featured Dancer / Maid by the Fire

Avery currently teaches dance at Ascension Dance. She has been involved in several community and high school productions, with some of her favourite roles including Flakie in The Littlest Rockette (TK), The Artful Dodger in Oliver (TK), Diana in Anne of Green Gables (TK), Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz (UCC), and Annie in Annie the Musical (UCC). Avery has been singing and dancing competitively since the age of five, bringing years of training and performance experience to her roles. She hopes to one day work on a cruise ship as a singer/dancer. Avery would like to thank her family and friends for their endless love and support—”you guys rock!”

Breya Blair

Youth Ensemble

Breya is a grade 6 student. She has previously played Child #3 in I Never Saw Another Butterfly, an orphan in Annie, and has performed as a dancer / actor / singer in Frozen Jr.. Breya trained at Brio Academy, where she took vocal lessons and participated in the musical theatre program. She hopes to continue performing with Theatre Kent in the future and aspires to become both an actress and a singer. A special shout-out to the amazing cast and director of this show, and to her sister Ella for always supporting her.

Briar McBoyle

Leper / Crowd / Mob / Offstage Voice

Briar works as an Advisor at Enbridge in Energy Conservation. Briar loves singing and dancing in ensemble roles and has most recently performed in Mamma Mia. Before that, she was a dead body and part of the minstrel troupe in Spamalot, and in university, she danced and performed at Wonderland. Although she has no formal training, Briar brings her passion for performance to every show. She’s grateful for the amazing cast and crew of JCS and has thoroughly enjoyed getting back into musicals with such a wonderful group of people. A special thank you goes to her loving friends and family for their constant support, especially to her fantastic husband, Kurt.

Brock MacKenzie

Judas

Brock is a Kindergarten Teacher with a passion for the performing arts. Previously, he has played notable roles such as Jesus in Godspell, Javert in Les Misérables, and Orin in Little Shop of Horrors. He holds an Honours degree in Drama in Education and Community from the University of Windsor. Brock would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to his very supportive and wonderful wife, Meg; he couldn’t do this without you. He also appreciates his two children, Maddie and Sam, who bring him joy every day. Special thanks to the production team—Jamie, Tom, Gina, JC, Jenne, and Joseph—for their guidance and for believing in him as he prepared for this role.

Cathy Tetreault

Happily retired, Cathy has enjoyed a rich history in theatre, with previous roles such as Maria in The Sound of Music, Miss Hannigan in Annie, Miss Stacey in Anne of Green Gables, and Donna Sheridan in Mamma Mia. Her training comes from life experience rather than formal education, and she finds as much joy in working backstage as she does in performing on stage. Cathy wants to give a huge shout-out to her amazing husband, who continually encourages and supports her in all her theatrical adventures.

Christine Folan

Annas / Merchant / Soul Girl

Christine is a teacher at ESPC High School and has previously performed as Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Babette in Beauty and the Beast, Mary-Lou in Yours Forever, Mary-Lou, and Jess in Vindredi. Christine is also a local author writing under the pen name C.H. Folan. She wants to give a heartfelt shout out to her family for their love and support, especially to Drew for handling so many bedtimes. A huge thank you to everyone in the cast for making this experience so fun and amazing!

Courtney Wells

Priest / Soul Girl / Merchant / Mob / Follower

By day, Courtney works as a Realtor, but by night, she’s a DJ/Host, Lead Singer in The Courtney Wells Band & Just Us Acoustic Trio, and an Acting & Music Mentor. Her favourite role, however, is being the mom of her two daughters, Layla and Aurora. Courtney has had many memorable roles with Theatre Kent, including playing a Boylan Sister in Annie, Linda Lauzon in Les Belles Soeurs, Annelle Dupuy in Steel Magnolias, and Alice Sycamore in You Can’t Take It With You. She has also worked in film and television, including a role on Degrassi: The Next Generation and various feature films. An ACTRA member, Courtney has enjoyed returning to the stage in theatre, especially with the added challenge of performing choreography while singing. A huge shout-out to Theatre Kent for providing a welcoming and creative space for artists to develop their craft. Over the past 46 years, this community has fostered lifelong friendships and even marriages, and it’s an honour to be part of this vibrant group.

Crystal Horst

Simon / Soul Girl

Crystal is a Federal Government Employee with a rich background in theatre. She has performed in various roles, including Marcy in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Crystal in Little Shop of Horrors, and Potiphar’s Wife in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, among many others over the past 14 years. Crystal holds a BA(H) in Dramatic Arts and a BEd. She encourages everyone to support local theatre as much as possible. A special shout out to her partner Jordan, family, and friends for their unwavering support throughout her performances over the years!

Daemyn LaMarsh

Daemyn is a grade 10 student at Ursuline College Chatham. He has previously appeared as Drake, Bundles, and in the ensemble of Annie Jr., and as Eric in the ensemble of Matilda The Musical. Daemyn is passionate about theatre and excited to be part of this show. He is also looking forward to his upcoming role in Descendants: The Musical at UCC. He would like to give a special shout-out to Aidan Runnalls for his support and encouragement.

Emalee Clark

Emalee is excited to join the cast of Jesus Christ Superstar. While currently not in school, she has previously taken on memorable roles such as King Triton in The Little Mermaid Jr., Grandma Addams in The Addams Family, and Slightly in Peter Pan, along with various crew roles. Emalee has received training in Musical Theatre at Brio Academy. She is looking forward for everyone to go and see Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief at CKSS. She wants to give a big shout out to everyone for making this such an amazing first Theatre Kent production for her!

Emma Herron

Apostle / Leper

Emma works as a Recreation Manager. She has previously performed as Arista in The Little Mermaid and Serena in Legally Blonde. Emma holds a degree in Therapeutic Recreation and is passionate about creating meaningful experiences for others. She’s excited to see Taylor Swift later this month and is looking forward to future projects. Emma would like to give a huge shout-out to the amazing directing and producing team for all their hard work and dedication. Thank you for everything you do!

Erin Kys

Peter / Soul Girl / Costume Designer

Erin’s previous stage roles include Ronnette in Little Shop of Horrors, Sally Anderson/Ensemble in A Christmas Carol: The Musical, Lady with Babies/Napkin in Beauty and the Beast, Judah’s Wife/Ensemble in Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Dancer the Reindeer in The Littlest Rockette. Erin studied Media Arts at Sheridan College, blending her creative skills in both performance and design. Beyond the stage, Erin is a Studio Assistant at Velvet Boudoir Photography. She is also passionate about gaming for a cause. This December, she’ll be completing her 12th Extra Life gaming marathon, raising money for London, Ontario’s Children’s Health Foundation. Over the past 11 events, she’s raised a cumulative total of $12,000 for the cause. She wants to give a heartfelt shout-out to her Group Chat besties for their constant love and support.

Fiona Johnston

Youth Ensemble / Leper

Fiona is a grade 3 student at Monsignor Uyen, this is Fiona’s first theatre production. She has several years of training in tap and ballet with the Kim Chinnick Dance Studio and also participates in the recreation program at Great Lakes Gymnastics. Fiona has thoroughly enjoyed being part of this show and looks forward to continuing her journey in performance in the future!

Francesca Foex

Featured Dancer

Francesca works as a dance teacher at Ascension Dance and is currently in Grade 12 at UCC. In the past year, she has performed as a Featured Dancer in CKSS’s The Addams Family and as Featured Dancer/Woodstock in TK’s Charlie Brown. With 14 years of dance experience, including 10 years of competitive dance, Francesca has been a part of the TK community since before she was born. She is looking forward to her upcoming role as Mal in UCC’s Descendants in April.

Gina Paradis

Stage Manager

Gina is a retired attendance clerk from JMSS with over 40 years of practical, hands-on experience in community theatre. She’s contributed across multiple roles, including stage managing, costumes, props, and set construction, along with performing on stage. Her last role was in Remember, Maggy? in 2023. Gina encourages everyone to get involved in theatre, reminding us that every bit counts! A special thanks to her husband, Andre, along with family and friends, for supporting TK. Thank you for being here, and enjoy the show!

Hannah Garneau

Youth Ensemble / Questioning Child

Hannah is a talented performer with a passion for musical theatre. She is currently a student at Monsignor Uyen Catholic School, where she is in Grade 6. Hannah’s previous roles include Townsperson in Frozen Jr., a Munchkin in Wizard of Oz, Officer Ward in Annie, and Sour Kangaroo in Seussical. She has received voice lessons from Victoria Hoshowsky at the Chatham Music Academy, further honing her skills in performance. Outside of the stage, Hannah is deeply grateful for the encouragement and support of her parents, as well as the inspiration she’s received from her teachers and castmates. She’s excited to continue her journey in musical theatre, drawing energy from both her experiences and the wonderful people around her.

Harrison Gilbert

Youth Ensemble

Harrison is a Grade 8 student at McNaughton Ave Public School with a passion for musical theatre. Harrison’s previous roles include Daddy Warbucks in Annie Jr. and King in Frozen Jr. at Brio Academy, as well as Pavel in I Never Saw Another Butterfly with Theatre Kent. Harrison has also participated in a musical theatre intensive program at Brio Academy, where he further developed his craft. Looking ahead, Harrison invites you to catch him as an actor in the Ghost Walks of Chatham-Kent spirit walks. He would like to extend a special thank you to his parents for always supporting and believing in him throughout his journey in theatre.

Jamie Johnston

Director / Choreographer

Jamie has directed and choreographed several memorable shows for Theatre Kent, including Spamalot, White Christmas, Chicago, and Evita. Additionally, Jamie has produced, directed, and performed in Five Cork Productions’ Winesday: The Wine Tasting Musical. She gives a big thank you to Tom for jumping back into the madness with her, to JC, Jenne, and Gina for everything (!), and a special shout-out to her husband and children for their unwavering support and patience.

JC Wright

Producer

JC is a French teacher at Monsignor Uyen Catholic School with an extensive background in theatre. JC has produced Beauty and the Beast, White Christmas, Chicago, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Vindredi : la dégustation musicale (which she also directed and acted in). She has won a WODL Award for Outstanding Performance in a Supporting Role as Irene in Remember, Maggy? With both on- and off-stage experience, JC brings passion and dedication to every project. Looking ahead, She is thrilled for the upcoming 50th anniversary of Theatre Kent in four years, an event sure to bring Chatham-Kent together for a grand celebration. A heartfelt thanks goes out to Jamie, Tom, Jenne, Gina, Erin, Tam, Keith, Robyn, Lisa, her mom and Brian, and especially Steven—who knows exactly what needs to be said.

Jenne Wason

Assistant Director

Jenne is a theatrical writer and director with a passion for storytelling, and currently serves as Assistant Director and “Sometimes Publicity Guru” for this production. When she’s not working on shows, she’s also a Director of Marketing & Communications. As a bookwriter and lyricist, Jenne’s works include Winesday (recently played Off-Broadway), The White Rose, Flakie (aka The Littlest Rockette), and more. She’s also no stranger to the stage, having performed the roles of Eva Peron in Evita and Lady of the Lake in Spamalot, both with Theatre Kent. Jenne holds a BFA in Drama, with a Minor in Dramatic Writing, from New York University and is a member of the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop. Jenni Ginty

Jenni works as a Community Support Worker at Community Living Chatham-Kent. She has had some memorable roles in the past, including a Cell Block Girl in CHICAGO and Auntie Em/Glinda in The Wizard of Oz. She has six years of voice lessons and choir experience and enjoys singing in a band. On weekends, Jenni loves playing music with her husband, Jordan, in their band Two From Tuesday. Jenni wants to give a big shout-out to her family for stepping in to handle things at home, for listening to Jesus Christ Superstar on repeat, and for their continued support. She also thanks her work family for being flexible with her schedule so she can attend rehearsals and for supporting her passion for music. Finally, a huge thank you to the amazing cast and crew for keeping theatre alive!

Jeremy Zimmer

Pontius Pilate

Jeremy works as a secondary teacher and has a rich history of performances, including Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof, Prince Charming in Into the Woods, Peter in Godspell, Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls, Friedrich in The Sound of Music, and Gerry Baute in Anne of Green Gables. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Music from Wilfrid Laurier University. He invites everyone to check out his next labour of love, UCC’s The Descendants, which will run in the spring. He would like to give a heartfelt shout out to Michelle, Wyatt, and Leeah for their support throughout this incredible, bucket-filling experience of performing in Jesus Christ Superstar.

JoAnn McKay

Assistant Stage Manager

JoAnne is a Case Manager at the Salvation Army. She has taken on memorable roles such as Morgan LeFay in Camelot and Brenda, the guest speaker in Calendar Girls. With a background in developmental services work, JoAnn brings a wealth of compassion and organisation to her roles, both on and off the stage. Outside of theatre, JoAnn is passionate about supporting the Chatham Concert Band and all the diverse musical and artistic contributions they make to the community. She offers a heartfelt shout-out to the directors, producers, and all the backstage crew who bring the magic of theatre to life, making it seem effortless to audiences.

John Lundy

Apostle

John is a skilled chef with a deep love for theatre. He takes on the role of Apostle James in this production. His past performances include Sam Katz in Cemetery Club, various characters in The Dining Room, Vagabond in Madwoman of Chaillot, and Apostle Thomas in Jesus Christ Superstar (1997) with Theatre Kent John is a graduate of the University of Windsor, where he studied Drama. He looks forward to participating in more plays with Theatre Kent in the future. He would like to extend a heartfelt shout out to the talented cast and crew of the show for their hard work and collaboration.

Joseph Benoit

Rehearsal Accompanist / Principal Synthesist / Keyboard Programmer

Joseph is an accomplished composer, singer-songwriter, and entertainer, with a diverse career spanning various musical and theatrical roles. As the Rehearsal Accompanist, Principal Synthesist, and Keyboard Programmer for this production, Joseph brings his extensive experience to the creative process. He is also known for his work as the band leader, singer-songwriter, and founding member of AWI and 5 Benoit, as well as his contributions as a choir director, arranger, and principal organist for the Famille de paroisses des Lacs Érié et Sainte-Claire. In the theatre world, Joseph has been a lead performer in multiple Theatre Kent productions, including Spamalot and The Importance of Being Earnest. He is also the composer of the Off-Broadway hit Winesday: The Wine Tasting Musical. Joseph holds a BMA from the University of Windsor and a B.Ed & Cert. Ens. from the University of Ottawa. He is currently working on a number of exciting projects, including Vendredi: La dégustation musicale, 1BC MEDIAS, and a future French-language Christmas album. Joseph offers a special shout-out to God and Jenne.

Josh Reaume

Herod

Alyssa is excited to take on the roles of Merchant, Reporter, and Guard. She works as an Office Administrator at Emmanuel Baptist Church and has previously performed in the Ensemble in Mamma Mia. Joshua Campbell

Jesus

Joshua is the Head Barista at StoneThrowers’ Cafe, where he is also passionate about the cat lounge, which has successfully found forever homes for over 25 cats in the past six months. He has previously performed as Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, the Beast in Beauty and the Beast, and Chip in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. He is an accredited Veterinary Assistant, bringing a love of animals and care to everything he does. Joshua would like to give a special shout-out to Jenna “Nicolby” for helping him run lines and being his emotional support throughout this process.

Keith Burnett

Caiaphas

Keith is a retired professional with a passion for theatre. He has previously portrayed George in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf and Max in Bent. He would like to remind everyone about the St. Andrew’s Christmas Concert on December 7th at the Capitol. A heartfelt shout out to all the cast and crew, and especially to Tamar—love ya!

Laura Feetham

Apostle / Soul Girl

Laura is a Compliance Assistant at Salus Mutual with a flair for the stage. In this production, she plays Andrew the Apostle, Soul Girl, Offstage Voice, and joins in the Mob and/or Crowd scenes. She has performed in a variety of roles, including Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast, Sugar Plum Fairy Godmother in The Littlest Rockette, and many chorus roles such as a nun, apple tree, and minstrel. Laura brings a unique perspective to her craft, with a background in accounting — because, as she points out, music is math and dancing involves counting, making it all somewhat related! In her downtime, Laura loves to brag about her cats, Asparagus (Gus) and Olive, who she insists are pretty awesome. She sends a heartfelt shout-out to her friends, family, and coworkers for their support, and especially to the cast, crew, production team, and orchestra of JCS. Laura has been thrilled and honoured to be part of this show, loving every minute of the experience, and is grateful for everyone who helped bring this amazing production to life.

Layla Faith Wells-Doxtater

Youth Ensemble / Leper

Layla is a Grade 5 student and has previously performed as JoJo in Seussical The Musical in school. She has taken piano and singing lessons and has some dance training. Looking ahead, Layla would love to play the role of Annie or Annie’s dog, Sandy. She would like to give a special shout-out to her amazing teacher, Mme Wright, for inspiring so many young actors at her school. Layla has loved being part of this show, especially sharing the experience with her mom and all the talented actors, musicians, and production crew.

Leila Le

Reporter /Mob/ Crowd/ Off-stage voice/ Merchant

Leila is a grade 9 student with a strong passion for theatre. She has previously taken on a variety of roles, including the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz, Hunter/Ringmaster/Vlad Vladickoff in Seussical, and Coach in Descendants. Leila would love to one day play Ms. Hannigan in Annie. She would like to give a special shout-out to JC Wright.

Lochlan Roffel

Youth Ensemble

Lochlan is a grade 5 student. He has previously performed as the Pilot in The Little Mermaid Jr. He has two years of experience in the Musical Theatre program at Brio Academy. Lochlan is grateful to his parents for encouraging him to audition and is especially excited to have done his first community theatre show alongside his mom and grandpa.

Lydia Vickery

Youth Ensemble

Lydia, a grade 8 student at Monsignor Uyen, has been passionate about theatre from a young age. She’s played Pepicek in I Never Saw Another Butterfly, the Wizard in The Wizard of Oz, an orphan in Little Orphan Annie the Musical, part of the ensemble in Frozen Junior the Musical, and Bird Girl in Seussical the Musical. Lydia has trained at Monsignor Uyen and Brio Academy and is currently preparing to audition for Annie Jr. at her school and for The Hunchback of Notre Dame with Mavis Productions. She’s grateful to Theatre Kent and Brio for supporting young performers in the community and sends special thanks to her parents for cheering her on, on stage and off!

Maille Michaud

Youth Ensemble

Maille is a grade 8 student at Monsignor Uyen. She has previously played the Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz and Bird Girl in Seussical the Musical. Her drama education has come through school plays, where she continues to develop her passion for performance. Maille is excited to share that Monsignor Uyen will be putting on Annie JR. in the Spring! A special shout-out to Mme Wright for being an absolute trooper!

Malachi Smith

Reporter / Merchant / Follower / Crowd / Mob

Malachi is a grade 12 student at Ursuline College Chatham. He has previously performed as Taylor in UCC’s NTS IRIS and as the Naturalist in UCC’s Teachers. He is looking forward to his future roles, including playing Chad Charming in UCC’s 2025 musical Descendants and writing and directing UCC’s 2024/2025 NTS play Wisteria. Malachi is grateful for the support and enthusiasm of Mrs. Fernandes, who has helped hype up this show within his school.

Mark MacDonald

Apostle / Merchant / Mob

Mark is a teacher at ICRPS. He has previously performed in a variety of roles, including Bill in Mamma Mia!, Scuttle in The Little Mermaid, LeFou in Beauty and the Beast, and the Butler in Mary Poppins. Though his formal training is limited to playing the sax in junior high, Mark has developed a passion for theatre over the years, largely inspired by his family. Looking ahead, he’s excited about the possibility of one day playing Gaston in Beauty and the Beast. A special shout-out goes to his kids, Lars and Celia, with a special thanks to Celia, who is the reason he first got involved in theatre.

Martin Lachapelle

Martin works as a school Counsellor. He has previously performed as Boris Kalinkov in You Can’t Take It With You and Von Hussler in Mary Poppins. Martin has developed a deep appreciation for the arts through his experiences on stage. He believes in the joys of acting and how it can positively impact overall well-being. Martin gives a special shout-out to JC Wright, who introduced him to the dramatic arts, and to his family and friends for their continued support.

Megan Canniff

Megan works as a Realtor with Royal LePage Peifer Realty. She has previously appeared as a Featured Dancer in Laurier Musical Theatre’s 9 to 5, UCC’s Addams Family, and Theatre Kent’s Mamma Mia!, and played Brooke Wyndham in Opposite Town Productions’ Legally Blonde. She also served as Choreographer and Featured Dancer in LMT’s Footloose. With twenty years of dance experience, including ten years as a competitive dancer, Megan is now an instructor and choreographer at Alexandria’s Dance Studio. She would like to thank everyone who supports the arts and helps make these performances possible!

Mikaila Wathy

Mikaila is in grade 7 at the new St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School. She is making her debut in her first role, and she is thrilled to be part of the cast! She has trained with the Bel Canto Choir and is excited to perform with them in So This Is Christmas on December 7, 2024, at the Capitol Theatre. Mikaila extends a huge thank you to her fellow castmates and Theatre Kent for an unforgettable first theatrical experience and can’t wait to join more productions in the future!

This show marks Mike’s 24th musical, with all of his performances taking place in Windsor (Theater Alive) or in Chatham (Theater Kent). His journey began with Man of La Mancha, and since then, he has had the privilege of being part of 23 other incredible productions. Now retired from teaching, He is grateful for the opportunity to continue sharing his passion for theatre and contributing to the vibrant arts community in the area. Each show has been a unique and rewarding experience, and he looks forward to many more!

Presley, who is in grade 3, previously had the opportunity to play Mama Bear. She runs a shop called Presley’s Little Boutique, where she sells jibbits, hair accessories, and other fun items. She has had a blast in her first big production with the JC Superstar crew! A big thank you to her family for all their support in her first public role!

Rachel Woods

Merchant / Reporter / Mob

Rachel works as a woman’s health advocate. She has previously appeared in UCC Productions as an ensemble member in Beauty and the Beast, Theatre Kent’s White Christmas, and as Ray in The Anything Toy, as well as participating in the Kiwanis Music Festival. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is passionate about promoting Endometriosis Awareness Month in May. She dreams of playing Lucy in Jekyll & Hyde or Fantine in Les Misérables. She wants to give a shout out to everyone who brought this show to life!

Rebecca Woods

Apostle / Soul Girl

Rebecca works as an Administrative Director and Instructor. She has performed in various productions, including Minnie Pye in Anne of Green Gables, Teen Angel in Grease, Wife in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Older Cosette in Les Miserables, Irene Roth in Crazy for You, and Grace in Annie. She studied Music and Drama Education at the University of Windsor and holds RCM qualifications in both Piano and Voice. Rebecca loves being able to share the stage with some of her students and is grateful for the support of Brio staff and students.

Sarah-Grace Enzlin

Sarah-Grace is currently taking some time off from school to explore her passions, and has discovered a love for makeup and hair design. She has had the privilege of participating in several productions, with one of her most memorable roles being Renka in I Never Saw Another Butterfly. She has also had various supporting roles in past shows. A graduate of CKSS, Sarah-Grace was actively involved in the music program throughout her high school years, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 restrictions. She has also trained in dance for the past 16 years at Pure Dance Academy and is now pursuing a career in the performing arts.

Stacie Dengel

Mary Magdalene

Stacie is an Alternative Education teacher with LKDSB. Her extensive theatre experience spans over 30 years. Some of her previous roles include Rona in Spelling Bee, Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors, Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast, Betty in White Christmas, Maria in The Sound of Music, Mama Morton in Chicago, and Yonah and The Snake in Children of Eden. Stacie holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Drama and Education as well as a Bachelor of Education. She has spent decades honing her craft, performing in choirs and onstage roles, and continues to be deeply passionate about theatre. She would love to see more musical spectaculars in the future, as Chatham-Kent has a wealth of talent and a thriving arts community that connects and grows through performance. This show is particularly special to Stacie as she gets to share the stage with her mom, close friends, and many teachers, directors, stage managers, musicians, and castmates who have inspired her throughout her career. She is incredibly grateful for all the people and experiences that have shaped her. Stacie is also deeply thankful for the love and support of her amazing husband and daughters—without them, none of this would be possible.

Sydney Hart

Apostle / Merchant / Guitar Player

Sydney has previously performed as Irena Synkova in I Never Saw Another Butterfly and Snoopy in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. She is actively studying voice, piano, and guitar and is currently preparing repertoire for the upcoming Kiwanis festival, as well as getting ready for a piano examination. Sydney would like to give a shout-out to the entire cast and directing team for making this such a memorable experience. She has loved every second of working on this project and looks forward to more musical opportunities with the company in the future.

Tim O’Malley

Tim has performed in various productions, including the Chorus in Mamma Mia, Burt in Mary Poppins, the voice of the singing plant in Little Shop of Horrors, and Fagin in Oliver. He is a massage therapist , with 28 years of experience. He is passionate about educating the public on the benefits of Thai Massage and yoga. Tim would like to give a shout-out to the wonderfully talented cast and crew. “We love you, Jesus!”

Tom is thrilled to serve as the Musical Director for this production. He brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles in artistic direction. He is eager to promote more modern and current works in the future. He wants to extend a heartfelt thanks to the whole team, as well as to his family and friends who have encouraged him to pursue this work for so many years.

Vernice Louise Torculas

Leper / Ensemble

Vernice is excited to take the roles of leper and ensemble. Currently in Grade 12 at UCC, she has previously performed as Ensemble in Matilda the Musical with UCC Theatre. Coming up, she will be seen as Royal Guard/Ensemble in Descendants the Musical, also at UCC Theatre. Vernice is eager to promote her upcoming project: she’s stage managing the one-act play Wisteria, which UCC is entering in the NTS Drama Festival this year. Shout out to all of the friends she’s made in this show!

Wyatt Zimmer

Youth Ensemble / Leper

Wyatt is in Grade 7 and is excited to be part of this production, despite having no previous theatre experience. He has been taking voice lessons with Ms. Victoria at the Chatham Music Academy, where he’s developed his singing skills. Wyatt is also looking forward to playing Hans in St. Anne’s Blenheim’s production of Frozen Jr. this December. He wants to give a special shout-out to his parents and sister for their encouragement and support in pushing him to audition for this show, as well as to Ms. Victoria for helping him hit all the right notes.

Erica Myers

Set designer / Lead Carpenter / Painter

Erica is a Booking Coordinator who takes on the roles of Set Designer and Lead Carpenter/Painter for this production. She brings a wealth of experience from her previous work in various production roles in Toronto. Erica holds a BFA in Performance Production from Toronto Metropolitan University, where she honed her skills in set design and carpentry. She would like to give a special shout-out to the Operations team at the Capitol Theatre for their ongoing support and collaboration.
