AUDITIONS CALL: I Never Saw Another Butterfly is a stirring musical about an inspirational teacher and the children of Terezin, a ghetto under Nazi rule during World War 2.
Auditions will be held in 8 minute time slots from 6 – 8 p.m. on Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17 in the Fellowship Hall of St. Andrew’s United Church (85 William St. S.). Enter the building off William St. S. across from the Dutch Market.
Auditions will include reading a short monologue which we provide, singing a short song of your choice which illustrates your vocal range (eg. O Canada), and some vocal range testing which will be done at the audition with the Music Director.
Due to the nature of the show’s content, all roles will be given to youth and young adults (ages 12 – 25).
Please contact Tim Luimes at tim.luimes@gmail.com to book a time slot.
Rehearsals will be held on Wednesday evenings and either Saturday mornings or Sunday afternoons depending on the availability of those who are cast.
