Hello Gang,
All of us here at Theatre Kent, and especially the board of directors, have been giving the current situation with the corona-virus a great deal of thought.
The situation being as fluid as it is, has made decision-making extremely difficult.
We want our members, family and community to know our decision has come late because it is based 100 per cent on keeping our members, family and friends and those out there in the community safe.
We as a theatre group have a moral responsibility to do what is right, so in the interests of Theatre Kent’s membership and audience, the current 2019/2020 season, including the current production of Calendar Girls, will be cancelled immediately.
We want to thank all our members for an awesome season thus far and we look forward to providing Chatham-Kent with the best in live community theatre next season.
We look forward to sharing our 2020/21 season with you in the near future, and in the meantime, stay safe, wash your hands and stay positive!
We will overcome this virus and be stronger for it.
